(01) Introduction

Following a year of rapid growth and multiple acquisitions, including Movoto, one of the largest home search platforms in the U.S., Lower needed to begin bringing its expanding ecosystem together. The challenge was to align brand, product, and customer experience across newly integrated companies while setting a clear direction for what the combined platform could become.

A UNIFIED BRAND AND PRODUCT EXPERIENCE CONNECTING HOME SEARCH TO FINANCING

Lower partnered with Nucleus to guide the early stages of unifying its brand and digital ecosystem, beginning with Movoto. At the same time, Movoto was redefining its mission and value proposition, creating an opportunity to rethink how customers could move seamlessly through the entire homebuying lifecycle, from discovery to financing and close.

Working closely with executives, product leaders, and delivery teams from both organizations, Nucleus helped define how the Lower brand would be thoughtfully integrated into the Movoto experience. This included a redesign of Movoto.com and the exploration of new merchandising and product workflows that introduced financing options directly into the home search journey, something that had not previously existed.

Nucleus also developed new feature concepts focused on improving customer experience, retention, account creation, and remarketing, while introducing affordability and financing tools designed to differentiate the combined platform in a competitive market. In parallel, Nucleus supported the creation of board-level presentation materials used to align stakeholders around the vision, features, and integration strategy.

Together, the work established a clear foundation for how Lower and Movoto could operate as a unified ecosystem, setting the stage for a more connected, end-to-end homebuying experience.
